Basic 5energies: Three – day Teacher Professional Learning
Useful for: Teachers, Teacher Assistants and Childcare Professionals

Description: This interactive workshop develops key understanding in the ten key domains that underpin learning. At the end of the workshop, teachers will be familiar with key concepts, effective remediation strategies and use of the FILTA (5energies© Integrated Learning Tool of Australia) within their classrooms and schools.
Dates:
Wednesday, 20th January - Friday, 22nd January, 2010 (9 am - 4:30 pm daily. lunch and afternoon tea supplied)
Total hours of Professional Development: 20 hours
Cost: $880 (including GST) if booked and paid for by 15th December, 2009. Minimum of 10 participants required.
$770 (including GST) if booked and paid for by 30th November, 2009. Minimum of 10 participants required.
Please note: This professional training is open to all school based teachers and teaching assistants (where a teacher from that school is attending).
- Participants must commit to all sessions to receive a certificate of completion and a licensing agreement to use the FILTA (5energies Integrated Learning Tool of Australia) in classrooms.
- A minimum of 10 participants is required. Group discounts apply for 15 participants or more. Maximum size of group in our premises: 25 participants
- We strongly recommend at least one recall session five weeks after training to allow teachers to support each other while implementing and interpreting learning delay results, and to gain support from 5energies trained PD facilitators. Additional payment required for this option.

Teacher Professional Development RETREAT
We will travel to your school or cluster, wherever you are in Australia. A minimum of ten participants is required for professional development sessions (group discounts available).
We offer a ‘retreat’ experience for enthusiastic teachers – 5energies Basic Three Day training compressed into a weekend of collaboration, fun, thought-provoking activities and professional development in the ten key domains that underpin learning – and a license to use the FILTA to analyse student development and learning delays.
On your negotiated weekend, we offer a collaborative, hands-on, active learning environment for teachers who want to extend their teaching strategies, and find out WHY children in their classes are struggling. We provide morning and afternoon teas and lunches. Dinner is negotiated with PD participants.
Friday afternoon and evening: 1 pm – 7:30 pm
Saturday: 8:30 am – 7:30 pm
Sunday: 8:30 am – 2 pm
